MacEwan Residence VR

In 2016, MacEwan Residence asked our team to come up with a creative growth strategy aimed at engaging prospective students internationally.

At the time, no other student residence in Canada had produced a virtual tour specifically for their residence - and we jumped at the chance to be the first.

We collaborated with 3D ScanExperts to film a tour of the facility and worked with Unofficial Cardboard to design and order 3,000 custom MacEwan-branded VR goggles.

We provided the viewers to MacEwan University’s recruitment team, along with training, conducted a media relations campaign and presented the VR tour with free goggles at on and off-campus events.

The MacEwan Residence virtual reality tour was accessed by 6,200 prospective students and their parents worldwide in the first three months.
